Learning at Home
Homework
We value the support parents and carers provide at home. As pupils can be tired after school, we do not set daily homework. If you would like additional learning activities, please speak to your child’s teacher or refer to your childs Learning Log.
Reading
Please read regularly with your child and encourage them to talk about stories, characters and illustrations. Asking questions about what they read helps develop understanding and a love of reading.
Some pupils may also bring home probe books to practise key words, phonics and maths facts.

Learning Log Overview
Learning Logs are a creative way for children to extend their learning at home. Activities are linked to topics covered in class and allow pupils to present their work in a way that suits them best, helping to develop independence, creativity, and confidence.
Each term, children can choose from a range of optional activities and complete them in a format of their choice, such as drawings, models, writing, photographs, or digital work. Completed tasks can be shared via email, Evidence Me, or brought into school. Teachers will acknowledge submissions and provide an overall comment each half term.
